This project required SBM to undertake a full balcony remediation program, including the removal of failed membranes and installation of a new high-performance waterproofing system. The works involved upgrading all drainage components, reinstating compliant falls, and completing detailed tiling to ensure long-term durability and protection against water ingress. SBM also removed and replaced the existing sliding doors with new architecturally-designed units, improving structural performance, weather resistance and acoustic efficiency. The project was delivered with strict attention to safety, quality and minimal disruption to residents, restoring the balconies to a modern, compliant and watertight condition.
